Limu & Crohn's Disease
During February of 2007 I was struggling with my Crohn's disease. My
doctor had informed me that my platelets which were supposed to be under
12, were at 56 and if they did not come back down by my next treatment he
would have to double the strength of my Remekaid treatment.
At the time I was to take 20mg of Prednisone daily to keep my cramps
under control, when Christian, my son, suggested I try Limu. I started
that day, taking a shot in the morning and in the evening. Within two
weeks I started to reduce the Prednisone I was taking. And on my next
visit to my doctor he said I was in remission, my platelets were at 26, and
he wouldn't have to increase my dosage. Shortly thereafter I got down to 0
on my Prednisone and am feeling better every day.
Basically I went from dreading the up and coming surgery that usually
followed the increase in treatment dosage to being in remission in 10
weeks.
